FML

Not just a funny website with hilarious-can't-believe-this-is-real stories.

No.

Fuck MY life.

I moved into my new apartment Oct 1. I was going to be living with 2 other girls. As the days went on, Roommate 1 and I started drifting (not that we were close to begin with, but it was getting to the point of being uncomfortable), and Roommate 2 and I became REALLY close. This past week, it had gotten to the point where Roommate 2 and I were doing things exclusively. We would invite Roommate 1 to come and hang out, but she was always wanting to stay in her room.

This past Sunday, Roommate 1 tells us she's moving out Nov 1. She's offered to leave us the entire damage deposit, even though neither of us paid any of it to begin with, so we thought that was nice of her. And she is paying rent for November. Awesome right?

The plot thickens.....

Today she tells me that we will need to hook up the power in my name, because they won't transfer the account for the apartment. This means Roommate 2 and I have to come up with a $200 deposit!!!

Sigh. She`s very inconsiderate. We plan on being complete bitches to her. I`m so over it. I wanted to keep the peace, and try and be amicable about the whole thing, but she`s pushed me over the edge.

AAAAAAH!!!

This story will continue another day...

Happy Thanksgiving....I Love My Career

HAPPY THANSKGIVING!!!!!

Man I love Thanksgiving. I get to spend time with family and friends, eat turkey and all kinds of goodies, drink a little, and not have to buy any presents. This is my favorite holiday, and the one I look forward to the most! I'm thankful for my family and loved ones, my job, the listeners, and everything in my life right now. I feel very fortunate.
Today I dine on the usual thanksgiving goodies. I'm very excited for some REAL food. I've been living on my own for a couple weeks, and I sure miss my aunt and uncle's cooking. Don't get me wrong, I love to cook and I'm good at it....it's just my cooking hasn't been that great when all I'm eating is frozen veggies, chicken breasts and apple cinnamon cheerios. Well that's half true. Anyways, I have family coming up from Edmonton and Calgary and I'm excited to see them, especially since I won't see my immediate family at Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Last night my roommate and I watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Garfield Thanksgiving It warmed my heart. I love those shows from my childhood.

IS NO ONE SAFE FROM H1N1???

So I'm going to confess something to you. And it's a confession I'm not afraid to make publicly on the internets.

I LOVE THE BACKSTREET BOYS!

I'm not shitting you. I have loved the BSB since they came out in the 90s. I never was a N*SYNC fan. Just BSB. That being said, I've seen them twice in concert. Once when I was in like, 8th grade, and again about a year ago. I just really enjoy their music and they put on a sweet show. Okay, okay...I swear, I'm getting to my point.

BRIAN LITTRELL HAS SWINE FLU

I know, right? Crazy! Check out this video for his message to his fans. Good God, he looks like hell. Not even B-Rock can pull this off. Now as far as I know, this is the first case of a celebrity being infected. Please, correct me if I'm wrong. Sorry the video is so big - I fail at embedding.

Poor guy!

The Move/Settling In Phase Continues

I realize it's been awhile since I posted an entry. I tell you - this moving thing is a pain in the ass. I moved in (officially) Sept 30th and I'm still not unpacked. Today's project involved hemming my curtains. Kinda.

I took the time to iron these damn things....and how do I hem them? Hang them and start cutting. Of course they're not straight. But at least there isn't 3 feet of curtain at the bottom, in a linen-puddle, collecting dust, dead skin cells and pet hair.
